FitVII GT5 Pro Max Smartwatch Beginner's Guide: Step-by-step setup instructions.

📦Just received your FitVII GT5 Pro Max? After unpacking, you'll find the watch, charging cable, and band. So what should be done now?

Don't worry. This guide will walk you through the initial setup step by step.

📋Step 1: Unpack and inspect

The following items are included in the package:

1 FitVII GT5 Pro Max watch

1 magnetic charging cable

1 original band (plus 1 replacement band included in the promotion)

The watch display should be checked for scratches, and the band should be inspected for damage. If any issues are encountered, photos should be taken as evidence and customer service should be contacted.

⚠️Warning: If the metal band is chosen, please be aware that metal bands may loosen easily during daily use. Some users have reported that the magnetic closure of metal bands may shift during use. Extra care is recommended during daily wear.

🔋Step 2: Charging and Powering On

The watch typically doesn't come fully charged. Before using it for the first time, at least 2 hours of charging are recommended to ensure a full battery.

How to Charge:

The magnetic charging cable should be placed near the charging contacts on the back of the watch. The contacts will automatically align.

The other end should be connected to a USB power adapter or a computer USB port.

The charging progress will be shown on the display. When the battery is fully charged, the charging cable can be disconnected.

A full charge takes about 1-2 hours. With normal use, the battery will last about 6-7 days.

💡If the power button is held down but the watch doesn't turn on, try charging it first.

📲Step 3: Download the app and pair the device with your watch.

The "G Band" app can be searched for in your phone's App Store, or the QR code in the user manual can be scanned to download it.

Open the app, create an account, and select "Add Device." Nearby watches will be automatically searched for by the app. Once found, tap to pair.

After pairing, the time and date on the watch will sync automatically.

📌Note: FitVII is compatible with both Android and Apple phones. No specific brand needs to be specified.

⚙️Step 4: Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose Calibration This step is crucial.

This is the most important step, yet it's often overlooked.

Why is calibration necessary?

Sensors and algorithms are used by the watch's blood pressure and blood glucose measurement functions. To ensure the data accurately reflects your body's measurements, calibration with a traditional device is required.

Blood pressure calibration:

Your blood pressure should be measured once using a traditional upper arm blood pressure monitor, and the value should be recorded.

The blood pressure calibration list can be found on your watch or in the app.

The value measured with the traditional blood pressure monitor should be entered.

Blood glucose calibration:

Your blood glucose should be measured once using a traditional fingerstick blood glucose monitor, and the value should be recorded.

The blood glucose calibration list can be found in the app.

The value measured with the blood glucose meter should be entered.

Important note: FitVII is not a professional medical device. Blood pressure and blood glucose data are provided for reference only, and some discrepancies are normal. If accurate blood glucose measurements are needed to make medical decisions (for example, adjusting insulin dosage), a traditional fingerstick glucose meter should be used. A smartwatch should not be relied upon for these purposes.

Step 5: Tips for Daily Use

Correct position: The watch should be worn approximately one to two finger widths away from the wrist bone. During physical activity, it should fit snugly against the wrist to ensure the sensors are in close contact with the skin.

Precautions during measurement:

When heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels are being measured, the arm should be kept still and close to the wrist.

Tattoos, excessive hair, or dirt between the sensors on the back of the watch and the skin should be avoided, as these may affect the measurements.

Battery life and charging: The more health monitoring features are activated, the faster the battery will drain. If 24/7 automatic monitoring isn't needed, some features can be disabled in the app to extend battery life.

Questions & Answers

Q: Is calibration required for blood pressure and blood glucose the first time?

A: A basic calibration has already been performed at the factory, so the device can be used right out of the box. However, every body is different. If you want the data to better reflect your body type, a custom calibration can be performed using traditional blood pressure and blood glucose monitors in the app. This will provide a more accurate daily trend reference. Daily use will not be affected if calibration is not performed.

Q: Can customer service help me with setup?

A: Our after-sales service team can be contacted at any time if any issues are encountered, and they will be resolved promptly.

Q: Where can the app be downloaded?

A: The QR code in the user manual can be scanned, or "G Band" can be searched for in the app store.

Q: How long does charging take?

A: A full charge takes 1-2 hours and lasts about 7 days.
